Business Support and Development Manager- Part Time

We are recruiting for a Business Support and Development Manager.

£21-24k for 3 days per week pro rata (£35 -40k)

Fixed-term contract until March 2021 - Home based role

22.5 hours per week

The role;

Following development of a new programme of work, there is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and commercially driven Business Development Manager to work alongside the Director. Key tasks focus on project management, business support and relationship management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

· Business support and development opportunities as well as managing and maintaining important business relationships.

· Coordinating key events and developing potential business opportunities.

· Understanding the healthcare policy landscape.

· Working alongside EDI corporate support in your day to day work to project manage the EDI programme.

· Working cooperatively with our communications team to positively promote the EDI brand and help generate income

Job Description

By supporting and helping to facilitate growth of the EDI function working primarily with the communications and marketing departments, you will develop and implement project plans.

This requires:

· Developing a project management plan for key EDI projects

· Project managing the various strands of work with policy oversight as the EDI programme develops.

· Developing an Edi database of key stakeholders

· Helping to manage events for the leadership network

· Helping to coordinate the launch of key publications

· Organising, coordinating and tracking key meetings for the EDI Director in liaison with the corporate support lead.

Tasks for this role will include:

· Project management

· Writing proposals

· Policy understanding and oversight

· Coordination of key stakeholders and associates

· Contract review with potential new clients

· Collaboration and relationship management

· Strong communication skills

About you

We\'re looking for someone with strong interpersonal and communication skills. You\'ll also have NHS policy insight and be a strategic thinker with the ability to translate ideas into well-organised plans.

You will ensure the positive promotion of the services offered while gathering feedback to ensure consistent delivery of a high-quality service and high customer satisfaction.
