Customer Service Manager with work from home

Exciting new vacancy for an experienced manager/supervisor/team leader to join a reputable business on a permanent basis.

This role is to manage a team of 3 and take responsibility for leading and motivating the team in order to achieve business and individual objectives and ensure customer needs and expectations are met.

Hours: 8.30am - 5pm Monday to Friday

Salary: up to £30k

  • Provide and set reporting data on KPI's and the performance of the department
  • Ensure procedures, controlled documents and sales order processes are followed up and are always up to date.
  • Keep customers up to date with product changes
  • Liaise with internal departments for customer requests and to meet customer dispatch requirements.
  • Ensure paperwork is compliant ie. export documentation, POs
  • Attend internal meetings relating to Sales Order Management
  • Work closely with Finance department to resolve any customer account issues
  • Monitor the performance of the department
  • Carry out annual appraisals and regular 1:1s, setting objectives, identifying any training and personnel needs
  • Support and manage the teams' workloads; ensuring orders are dispatched in a timely manner
  • Ensure the teams accuracy of any related database records are kept up to date
  • Work to improve the efficiency & capacity of the department
  • Review customer satisfaction & investigate any quality issue and customer feedback.
  • Ad-hoc visits to other sites as deemed necessary
  • Provide support to other departments and undertake any other duties connected with this level of post, when necessary.

Experience required:

  • 2 years managerial/supervisory/team leader experience in a customer service setting
  • Confident communication skills
  • Good IT skills
  • Strong prioritisation, admin and organisational skills
  • Ideally knowledge of customs
