We are looking for an experienced teaching assistant!

This remarkable opportunity to be a part of a proactive and energetic team in Merton and across South London, with Career Teachers. This is a rare chance to join our experienced team of Educationalists covering your local primary schools across key stages. Providing you with the chance to work under the guidance of your designated consultant in a high achieving primary schools in and around London.

Are looking for an adaptable self-led teaching assistant role that will continually challenge you?

At Career Teachers, our educationists team pride themselves on dedication to ensure every child receives a first-class education and achieves their full potential. As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will be responsible for providing learning support to individuals 1-1 and groups while supporting teaching staff. You will be supporting pupils all across primary key stages from 3 to 11 years old (KS1-KS2).

ALL schools will be situated within a 30-minute journey from your doorstep.

Qualifications and Requirements

All the below requirements are essential for this position:

5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C), or equivalent, including English and Mathematics.And/or

Level 2/3 in Support Teaching in Schools Qualification
Level 3/4 Early Years Education Qualification
Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schoolsand

Previous teaching support experience with in a UK primary school (not key stage dependent)
Fluent level of English, both spoken and written.Desired

Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools
Any specialist SEN training - PECKS, MAKATON etc.
Restraint / personal care training and experience
Any CDP/ higher education qualifications in education and specialist supportInterviews are being held for shortlisted applicants.

All quoted rates are inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay.
