Description:

We are looking to recruit a flexible driver to work for one of our client organisations within the NHS delivering & supporting the facilities team providing an effective delivery service of food. Supporting the Food Services team with requirements of patients, staff and visitors through the highest standards.

Must be able to work on own have good time management, punctual able to work in a team and on own and excellent communication skills. The role also involves a mixture of working in a kitchen doing general kitchen duties washing up and cleaning, some food preparation as well as driving delivering meals to service users on site around the local area.

Duties:

Responsible for completing tasks on electronic porter schedule

Maintaining general tidiness and organisation of food service areas used

Transportation of all meals-service users, staff and visitors to be met by agreed standards

Ensuring all deliveries and checked and stored correctly

Temperature monitoring of food items

Some food prep and general washing up and cleaning in the kitchen.

Shifts: On a rota basis (phone number removed)pm

Week 1: Monday / Thursday / Friday

Week 2: Tuesday/Wednesday/Saturday & Sunday

You will need:

Full clean Driving Licence

Previous work history working in a catering environment

Safe Drive skills

Knowledge of food industry

Flexible approach to duties
