Wolf Healthcare are working with a well known and reputable Educational and Support Provider to assist them in their search to add full time, permanent Nurses to their expanding team. Currently with all facilities rated \'Outstanding\' with CQC you will be part of a truly remarkable business.
Role overview:
* You will be supporting around 20 students who have complex disabilities, caring for their mental and physical well being. The students may present with epilepsy, diabetes, have respiratory complications or have other associated requirements
* To work in an open and co-operative manner with the residential team, students, residents and their families, fostering individual\'s independence and acknowledging and promoting their involvement in the planning of their care
* You will be working alongside well trained care staff
* The role includes creating comprehensive health plans, conducting medical procedures and protocols and liaising with internal and external multi-disciplinary teams
* You will be supporting and developing non-qualified staff in the medication processes and empowering learners and residents to develop skills and knowledge in relation to their well being
* You will have responsibility for the management of medication, liaison with GP\'s, pharmacies and consultants
* To use up to date knowledge and skills to assess, plan, deliver and evaluate nursing care
* To ensure that all documentation and individual records are accurate, complete and consistent with legislation, policy and procedures
* You will be developed and supported in all aspects of your role by the Residential Manager
What do we require from you:
* A minimum of 1 years post registration experience in a relevant/related sphere of practice
* Experience of Client caseload management
* Provision of support and guidance to families, carers, nurse colleagues and allied health professionals
* Hold the ability to asses, plan, implement and evaluate health programmes without direct supervision and support
* Registered with the NMC
