Senior Administrator
Part time - 22.5 hrs per week
Immediate start - temp to perm role

The Senior Administrator will report to the Office Manager and will provide efficient and effective support to the federation, to ensure smooth running of all functions within. The Senior Administrator will be a strong communicator and play a pivotal role in delivering communications as well as providing comprehensive administrative and operational support to meetings and projects.


Provide administrative support to Members of the Board
Coordinate the student placements in all aspects of operational running, ensuring excellent and responsive communication with all respective parties, working in close collaboration with the Lead. This will include allocating students to practices, maintaining and distributing a course book, arranging tutorial sessions, securing suitable accommodation, and taking on the role of key link person between all stakeholders.
Manage diaries, and organise meetings and events ensuring that all supporting arrangements are in place.
Provide support for meetings, including the preparation and distribution of agendas and taking, transcription and distribution of minutes/ action notes. Follow up of action points arising from meetings.
Arrange catering for meetings.
Typing and formatting letters, reports, policies, minutes, presentations, statistics and general correspondence/ documents, as required, using Microsoft Office and other software packages.
Type up of group discussions and interviews as necessary.
Monitor generic inbox and respond accordingly.
Send official communications
Ensure that communication with all internal and external contacts is effected in a professional, courteous and responsive manner. Deal directly with queries and ensure that messages/ in depth requests are dealt with or passed to the appropriate staff member as soon as practicable.
Provide administrative support to projects being managed within the federation.
Support organisation of events including attendance where required.
Establish and maintain accurate and efficient electronic filing systems.
Photocopying, collation and distribution of reports, correspondence, handouts etc.
