Description:

My client is seeking a confident and determined Care Assistant to care for the elderly residents within their Care Home Service in Stirling, Scotland.

This position is on a temporary basis, so that does mean you can pick up adhoc shifts (as and when you like) or for those who like security and consistency, we can offer block bookings every 4 weeks. This will only include part time hours (22 hours)

Shift patterns - Monday - Sunday: Days: 07.00 - 19.00 / 08:00 - 20:00

Pay: £10 - £11 per hour - long days

£12 - £13 per hour - waking nights

Requirements for you as the Care Assistant:

Enhanced Clear PVG record
Medication Training is essential (without this your application for this position will be voided)
Experience supporting vulnerable adults (ideally the elderly)
Experience within a nursing/residential environment promoting independence
Excellent communication skills including reading and writing
Ability to learn and pick up tasks quickly
Considerate and flexible with working hours /days
Committed - there are regular weekly shifts for this service therefore commitment to the assignment is essential
Up-to-date mandatory training
Clean Valid UK Driver (Desirable - not essential)

Supporting residents with daily needs
Working closely with service users, staff, families, and other relevant professionals
Confident to shift lead without a Nurse present
Consistently promoting independence to service users
