​Reporting to the Home Manger, you will be the lead practitioner on shift. You will mentor, support and coach new staff and draw upon your extensive experience to manage any challenges that may arise. No two days are the same. ​Due to the nature of the role you will need previous experience working on the front line in Children’s Residential Services. You will also need to have a full UK driving license (with access to a car) and have achieved your Level 3 diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent.

​A Wilderness Way have homes set in beautiful rural locations throughout Cumbria and into the borders of Scotland. We mostly operate with 2:1 or 1:1 ratios and our RSW’s go above and beyond to help children move past the predominantly negative situations they have experienced and forge positive new pathways.
