Located: Field Based - flexible on location

Due to our continued growth and presence in the IT Services market, we are now looking to recruit a Service Portfolio Lead to be responsible for the full life-cycle management of existing IT managed services within the service portfolio; along with introducing new managed services aligned to strategic direction and demand.

You will manage and monitor the current portfolio of IT managed services to ensure they remain relevant and align to exceeding Ricoh current and potential new client challenges.

The role will be internal and client & vendor facing, providing support to the pre-sales community as a vital part of the position.

What you will be doing...

* Define, implement and manage a portfolio development system to support effective introduction of new and significant change to existing IT managed services

* Lead technology and service horizon scanning, aligning best placed candidates to opportunity pipelines

* Ensure that all new technology and service developments are created as robust IT managed services

* Navigate processes for funding and execution of IT programs and projects

* Move Solutions and services through portfolio planning, design, implementation and execution

* Understand, evaluate, and manage risks to the portfolio

* Understand client challenges and ensure a clear link from this to proposed new services

* Chair the Product Steering Committee (PSC) to enforce structure that links IT processes and IT resources to the organisation strategies and objectives

* Serve as a counsellor to and catalyst for department managers in identifying areas for technology improvement and/or technology use improvement

* Work with team to meet division goals

You will ideally have...

* Extensive IT Managed Service Provider Outsource knowledge operating within the ITIL frameworks and ISO/IEC standards

* Solid technical design experience within Tier 1 vendor Technology stacks

* Experience in the development of modern workplace, digital transformation & cloud managed services

* Effective coordination of internal delivery teams and 3rd parties in the design, implementation and run of newly developed services

* Strong understanding and experience of commercial and operational requirements and dependencies for complex Managed Services solutions

* Excellent understanding of Technical Design methodologies and approaches; preferably with some previous operational management or presales experience

* Flair for identifying new IT managed service capabilities that create demonstrable customer value

* Understanding of key commercial / operational drivers which are inherent within any complex Technical design

* Excellent verbal, written communication and presentations skills together with the ability to deliver customer presentations to board level

* Advanced negotiation and financial modelling skills

* Comfortable with the manipulation of significant electronic documentation
